well,i've nothing else to do for now so i decide to have a quick update.
Result had been released like decades ago. And i stil have not make up my mind of what courses to choose. My results? It's not up to my expectation by one grade. And i did not expect my H1 biology got a D instead lor. Maybe they minus points off since i took the exam under special conditions. If they really deduct points off because of that reason, i rather not take it under special condition. Other than that, i dun know why i got such grade for biology. Actually, i've been pondering whether should i retake as a private candidate since i knew that i screwed up some of my papers such as mathematics and biology. Due to the fact that i've been enlisted as a pec c soldier, it means that i have chances to get into a 8-5 kind of posting. However, the matter of the fact that my status is C1/L1 (the highest rank in pes c) means that i have a chance to get into a combat unit which in other words means that i do not get enough time to study. That why it is a gamble. To retake or not to retake. Looking at the other side of the picture, retaking does not mean a guarantee of better grades and better courses to choose from. The lack of consulation from teachers and the need to concentrate for long hours suggest that it would be a tough one. Moreover, the lack of sleep that is carried over after a late night study may not allow me to carry out my tasks that my job required. Moreover, i was not sure whether the results of my first a level would be voided. Therefore, i would be taking an unneccessary risk. Some people commented that having a degree is actually good enough no matter what courses u go since eventually you will get your pay and survive. Even if you are employed for your dream job, I am sure that the passion will extinguish after a couple of years. The harsh reality is that at the end of the day, all that matter is $$$/money.
Going open house last week made me decided that i should go into engineering courses. The problem now is that the engineering courses that i wanted to enter had slightly better grade. And the fact that i got a D for biology makes it all complicated. The irony is that i am trying to get into bio-engineering course with a D for biology.
