"Would you let him skateboard?"
"Erm..yeah,i guess.I will let him skateboard but i'll ask him to be careful."
"Then, would you run behind him and mollycoddle him?"
"No,i wouldn't.He should learn to be independent."
"But what if he fell and skinned his knee."
"He would then learn how to be more careful and gained more experience out of it."
"So although you have the power to interefere and prevent him from pain, you would choose to show your love by letting him learn his lesson."
