I knew i never blogged for a long time.
Okay. For a start, my duty last night was just plain extraordinary.
Heart Attack
Colonel
CAMO
2 MOs
High-ranked Audience
Combine all of the elements above and it became the resus case last night.
Adrenaline just keep pumping through our veins. You can just sense the chaotic yet excitement in the atmosphere. Everyone is so concentrated on doing their role and putting their 100 percent effort. It's not like the other resus which some just couldn't be bothered. What is this resus compared to the others? The other resus cases such as fracture, physical exhaustion, heat injuries, fits are so inferior with comparison of the heart attack suffered by the colonel last night. That's what a resus should be. It should be one that can endanger one's life and put their lives on a thin thread of line. The position of the patient played a part too. How many medics will get to "operate" on a Colonel? Not plentiful, i guess. I am not implying that others are inferior due to the insignificant rank. Everyone should be equal and be treated same, regardless of colonel or recruit. But who can deny the difference of a colonel and recruit?
And the feeling of accompanying the patient on an wailing ambulance is a lifetime experience. At that moment of time, you are the King of the Traffic. Every other cars have to hail your presence and let you pass by them. You can honk at cars that refused to give way, have the authority to turn left or right without waiting.
In conclusion,
Last night was such a blast.
PS:Will blog about the china trip.
